No. Audio is never sent between the two phones. Only the speaker's phone captures sound, and captions appear on both screens in real time.
Does the other person need an account?
No. The guest just opens your invitation link, types their name, and starts reading captions. Only the host needs an account.
Is my conversation recorded or stored?
No. Audio is never recorded or saved, and caption text lives only in memory while the conversation is active. See our Privacy page for details.
